====== Vorrutyer, Ges ======

Ges Vorrutyer is most notably remembered as a close friend and comrade of Prince [[vorbarra_serg|Serg]].

Before taking this role though, he had had an affair with [[vorkosigan_aral|Aral Vorkosigan]] shortly after the suicide of Aral's first wife. The end of the relationship left Vorrutyer with a burning hatred of Aral.

Vorrutyer was a violent sodomite and avid follower of the Marquis de Sarde. He performed his "arts", mostly unhindered by anyone and soon supported by Prince [[vorbarra_serg|Serg]] to whom Vorrutyer became a teacher.

Originally slated as the scapegoat in [[vorbarra_ezar|Emperor Ezar's]] elaborate assassination of Prince [[vorbarra_serg|Serg]], Vorrutyer was instead killed by Sergeant [[bothari_konstantine|Bothari]], his own batman and torturer. Attempting to gain control over then Commodore [[vorkosigan_aral|Vorkosigan]], Vorrutyer was attempting to rape Captain [[vorkosigan_cordelia|Cordelia Naismith]] when Sergeant [[bothari_konstantine|Bothari]] slit his throat.
