Beatrice was most likely a non-commissioned officer in the [[..:places:Marilac]] armed forces. She was imprisoned on Dagoola IV during the Cetagandan invasion and occupation of [[..:places:Marilac]].

She was of great help to [[vorkosigan_miles|Admiral Naismith]] during his Barrayan funded operation to rescue Colonel [[tremont_guy|Guy Tremont]] from the [[..:places:dagoola_4|Dagoola IV POW Camp]].

She died while successfully dumping a jammed ramp on one of the escaping shuttles, saving the lives of Admiral Naismith and 200+ POWs and [[..:organisations:Dendarii Mercenaries|Dendarii Mercenaries]] crew.
